Dear Valued Customer,

I hope that this finds everyone safe and healthy. It has been an interesting and challenging year for all of us. Personally, 2021 started off tragically. My wife of 44 years, Debbie, went into hospice care and passed away on February 2nd. She was always behind me in any endeavor, and as such, was instrumental in every facet of the business and my life. Thank you very much to all those who graciously offered condolences and sympathy during such a difficult time.

COVID-19 played a big part in the 2020 filing season. Despite extending the 2020 tax filing season by one month, the IRS still has millions of 2020 tax returns that have not yet been processed with new returns on their way in a few short weeks. We continued our office lock-down for a second year, which turned out to be a judicious decision. As the pandemic continues with the Omicron variant, we have decided to continue the office lock-down for another year.

While we did well last year, we are making some changes to our processes to improve your experience.

  • You can utilize our drop boxes or mail us your tax documents.
    • We will continue with two locked drop boxes at 85 Park Street in Stoughton & at 70 Longwood Ave in Onset.
    • Or place all your tax documentation in an envelope and attach the enclosed label to mail it directly to us.
    • Please provide us with ALL tax documents at one time. (W2’s, 1099’s, & deductions) Use this form
    • We will prepare your tax returns based upon the documents you provide to us and call you to discuss the results.
    • We do need a verbal OK to file your tax returns.
    • Please return our calls.
  • We understand that many families are struggling financially. We gave open account status to all clients last season. Unfortunately, many people have abused this. We have an extraordinary number of unpaid accounts from last year.
    • I am willing to work with anyone suffering financial hardship, but you need to communicate with us. Partial payments or payments by credit card are always possible.
    • Any past due balance will need to be paid in advance of working on your returns this year.
  • Please ensure we have a correct email, address, and telephone number. We need them to contact you regarding your tax return.
  • We expect the IRS and MA to waive signature requirements again this year, but we will still need your verbal approval of the results to file your returns.

Thank you for your continued business.
